Author Guidelines

1. Introduction

The Gnoscience Journal of Clinical and Public Health is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in clinical medicine and public health disciplines. The journal aims to promote the dissemination of evidence-based research, clinical insights, and public health advancements that improve patient care and healthcare systems globally. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts that provide scientific rigor, clinical relevance, and public health impact.

2. Article Types

The journal publishes the following article types:

  • Original Research Articles – Novel clinical or public health research findings
  •  Review Articles – Comprehensive and critical analysis of existing literature 
  •  Case Reports – Unique clinical cases with significant learning value 
  • Case Series – Multiple related clinical observations 
  • Short Communications – Brief reports of preliminary findings 
  • Clinical Perspectives / Commentary – Expert opinions and insights  

3. Author Responsibilities

  • Corresponding Author: One author must be designated to manage submission, revisions, and communication 
  •  Cover Letter: Must include significance, originality, and conflict of interest disclosure 
  •  Suggested Reviewers: Authors may suggest up to 2 reviewers (no conflict, no recent collaboration, different institution)

4. Manuscript Preparation

  • Title: Clear, concise, no abbreviations 
  • Author Information: Full names, affiliations, corresponding author details 
  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
  •  Keywords: 4–6 keywords 

5. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should generally follow:

  • Introduction – Background and objectives 
  • Materials and Methods – Study design and methodology 
  • Results – Findings 
  • Discussion – Interpretation and comparison 
  •  Conclusion – Key implications 
  • Acknowledgments – Contributions and funding 
  • Supplementary Information (if applicable) 

6. Figures and Tables

  • Figures must be high resolution 
  • Tables should be editable 
  • Each figure/table must include a caption 
  • Cite in numerical order 

7. Ethical Considerations

  • Ethical Approval: Required for human/animal studies 
  • Patient Consent: Mandatory for identifiable data/images 
  • Conflict of Interest: Must be declared

8. Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policy

  • The journal follows strict ethical standards in line with COPE guidelines.
  • All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism 
  •  Similarity above 15–20% may lead to rejection
  • Misconduct includes: 
  • Plagiarism 
  • Data fabrication
  • Duplicate submission 
  • 📌 Violations may result in rejection or author blacklisting 

9. Peer Review Process

  • Single-blind peer review 
  • Independent expert reviewers 
  • Final decision by handling editor 

10. Article Processing Charges (APC)

The journal follows an open-access model to ensure global accessibility. 

Special Note: The journal is currently offering a full APC waiver for all articles published in the first issue. (Standard APCs may apply for future issues.)

11. References

  • The journal follows the Vancouver referencing style.
  • References should be numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text.

In-text citation example

  • Recent studies have reported similar findings in clinical cases [1].

11. Submission Process

Authors should ensure that the following files are included:

  • Cover letter
  • Ethical approval or consent documents if applicable
