Peer Review Policy:
The Journal of Mental Health and Substance Abuse follows a single-blind peer-review process, with a minimum of two reviews for each submission. Each article undergoes a thorough evaluation by two subject matter experts selected by the Editor-in-Chief (EIC). The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of an article is made by the EIC based on the reviewers' feedback.
In a single-blind peer review, the authors do not know the identities of the reviewers, but the reviewers are aware of the authors' identities. This conventional review method is designed to maintain the integrity of the review process while ensuring unbiased and rigorous evaluation.
