Conflict of Interest Policy

The Journal of Biology and Medicine: Open Access encourages transparency throughout the publication process. Authors should disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that could influence—or reasonably be perceived to influence—the interpretation of their research.

Editors and reviewers are also expected to declare any potential conflicts of interest before participating in the editorial or peer review process. Individuals with significant conflicts may be excluded from handling or reviewing a manuscript to preserve impartiality and fairness.

Disclosure of conflicts does not necessarily prevent publication but helps maintain transparency and trust in the scientific record.
