Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Biology and Medicine: Open Access is committed to publishing scientifically rigorous and ethically conducted research through a fair, transparent, and timely single-blind peer review process. Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes an initial editorial assessment to determine its suitability with respect to the journal's scope, originality, scientific quality, and compliance with ethical and submission requirements.

Manuscripts that successfully pass the preliminary screening are assigned to independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. Reviewers evaluate the scientific validity, study design, methodology, originality, data interpretation, ethical considerations, and overall contribution of the research. Constructive comments and recommendations are provided to assist both the authors and the editorial team.

Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback before a final decision is reached. The Handling Editor carefully considers the reviewers' recommendations, the quality of the revisions, and the overall scientific merit of the manuscript before making the final editorial decision.
The journal expects reviewers, editors, and authors to maintain confidentiality throughout the review process and to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their judgment.
